Sweeping the dust off!!!

Sat Apr 11, 2009, 3:36 PM
I'm back, and with a few drawings almost ready for posting. The past 6 months have been a blur, and my time for personal drawings became less and less. In the past few months I have been busy developing two business's websites while working on a third's entire 2009 marketing campaign. A few logo design commissions thrown into the mix kept me away from pencil on paper work for myself.

I will be heading to Chicago's 2009 Anime Central in early May with two of my close friends :icondcpanda: and :iconjhim43: at the PandaRage Press booth in the artist's alley. I had a blast last year meeting new people, and can't wait for this year.

Weather is warmer so that means the bike is out, chromed and polished. Some might think different, but I hope 2009 will be a great year!!!

PEACE!

Looking at some of your stuff again, like the Tau helping the guardsman. Wanted to ask if you looked at any particular books or websites when developing your style?
I lived in a hick town most of my childhood, so websites and magazines were out of the question. I developed my own for a bit, then going to art college in Chicago with life drawing helped me out with proportions and contours.

As I was a-walking down Paradise Street,
To me way-aye, blow the man down.
A pretty young damsel I chanced for to meet.
Give me some time to blow the man down!
